Operation Summer Body Update: 55 Days
Lately I find myself looking at calories. I find myself considering portion size. I’m down a few pounds. I am on target for the healthy weight loss of 1-3 lbs weekly without the help of pharmaceuticals, but good old fashion hard work. I still go to the gym consistently though this week has been a little rough with my routine, distractions perhaps.
I am now better understanding how not only what I eat matters, but the portions. I think portion control is huge for me. Eating enough, but not overeating. I’m more conscious of it. Asking myself do I need seconds or is this enough? Am I content, or am I full? Somewhat of a full circle moment like with life. Questions of contentment like where I am, where my relationships are, what do I need, is it enough? That kind of stuff. Not from a fear based space but more so observation, self reflection, and honesty with self. Do you have any upcoming summer body goals? Are you content with where you are?
