Two weeks ago while on vacation in Miami, Florida I was able to attend the American Black Film Festival 2025! The event was star studded and included films, art, music, and entertainment of all kind. Film projects were released and a platform was giving to fresh artistic innovators.

Furthermore, I was able to attend a variety of events including official screening selections, awards ceremony, spotlight selections, ABFF Remembers Love Jones, social media ambassadors were also present, and the event for me concluded with the legendary all-white party which was a sight to see. Master classes were also offered from creative writing to producing stories for global audiences on a budget and everything in between! I liked ending the event with the party. I was able to celebrate with the community. I was reminded of a college reunion and everyone coming back together after a long time or reuniting with family. The atmosphere was welcoming. I loved the joy and innocence of entertainment, fun, and art. I was able to observe and learn.

At any rate, two main venues where events were held and discretion like art interpretation was left completely up to the viewers. As a lover of movies it was phenomenal to see unique, creative, and fresh ideas! I love abstract story telling, that requires some thought.
