Rejection, Why Is It So Hard?
Being able to handle and accept rejection is not always easy, but it is a part of life. However, rejection is not necessarily indicative of our character and who we are. Some of us take rejection personal, it’s not always personal. Many of us have suppressed childhood trauma. Some of that trauma can include rejection, fear, neglect, and abandonment. Regardless it is our responsibility to work through those triggers and feelings. The actions of others should not sway our emotions and responses.
